Terrible shopping experience
I had a terrible shopping experience with Carters and dont recommend anyone buy items from this company unless you want to be disappointed. I ordered a t-shirt with a sports logo from Carters for my child for a special school event a shirt I was only able to find through their website.
I made sure to order it well in advance of their shipping timelines for a store pickup and the day before the item was supposed to be ready, I found out they cancelled/refunded the order. There was no notification sent to me and I only found out after manually looking up the order. That left me scrambling to find something else for my son so he wouldnt be left disappointed.
Completely unacceptable for busy parents who are already tight on time and are paying for an online service that failed to deliver. Do better Carters.

Oily package
Dear Carter's customer service manager,
A few days ago I ordered a batch of baby cloths from carters instagram with this order No.CAR9343****
My packaged was delivered today (07-09-23, afternoon). The package was contaminated by a kind of very smelly oil (attached photos), like my gift bag and even my discount code envelope inside were full of oil. That oil is unbelievably disgusting and is the shame that I as a constant customer of carters has to received my order like this.
I need a refund for my gift bag and send an intact gift bag asap since the gift bag was sacrified and the cloths were clean but I really do not deserve to see that scene!

Refund
Ordered ONLINE in the store Carters cancelled the order because it was out of stock. I went back to the store to get my refund.
I was told since it was an online order I could not get my cash back. I would have to wait for a Carters gift card that would take 3-5 days or by check that would take a month. I paid cash why would I have to be committed to Carters gift card or wait a month for a check?
Why dont you honor your receipt and settle any issue within Carters? Carters needs to get into a conference room and settle this issue immediately so your customers like me that have been happily shopping at Carters for over 8 years can shop with confidence.

Preferred solution: I want to know why there is service fee attached to credit card. I've paid $36 in service fees. I've cancelled card and got another bill for $2 service fee. I get no response about why.

I had my suspicions too and went to look on Temu to find many of the same outfits just for slightly higher prices. I’d love to order because there’s enough in my cart to outfit my little man for the entire summer but I also don’t want to lose my money.
